Find your spirituality with or shalom
Or Shalom offers a monthly cycle of Friday night and Saturday morning Shabbat services, alternating between Zoom and in-person. For the latest information, subscribe to our weekly newsletter by clicking here. Or view our calendar by clicking here.
Or Shalom services reconnect us to the spirituality and joy at the heart of Judaism. Our services are rich with music, chanting, and contemplative silence.
Our prayers, centered on the Reconstructionist siddur (prayerbook), interweave ancient prayers with in-the-moment improvised blessings. We like to ask our community to share recent good news and ask for opinions on the weekly parsha, but there's never any pressure to participate (though we do want to hear from you!).
As people of faith devoted to social justice, we find rejuvenation in spiritual practice and strive to share that healing with the world.
Torah study
Every Thursday at 10:00 am, we host a virtual Zoominyan: This is a place for anyone interested in studying Torah to pray, share gratitude and examine the weekly Parsha in an open, warm, and encouraging online community. We welcome all levels of knowledge and people of all ages and backgrounds. This weekly Torah Study is lay-led and includes the Healing prayer and Mourner's Kaddish.
Join us every Thursday morning at 10:00 am via this Zoom link (Passcode: THURSDAY). Click here for our Zoominyan prayerbook.
