Membership Renewal 21-22

What does Or Shalom membership mean to you?

We think Or Shalom is and will continue to be San Francisco's very best, small but mighty, unapologetically progressive Jewish community. Please take a moment to think about what Or Shalom means to you and your family. The reality is, our wonderful staff’s salaries, education programs, social action projects, ritual services, and festival celebrations require financial support.

We know that some of us may still be facing tough financial times and that some of us are fortunate enough to have financial stability. As we ask for your 2021-22 financial commitment, we hope you are in a position to renew your commitment at or above last year's level for the coming year. Perhaps you can consider the 10-month payment plan like the majority of Or Shalomers. You may even find you can increase your contribution when on a monthly plan.

More importantly, we want you to know that Or Shalom never turns people away because of financial hardship—you do not have to stop connecting to Or Shalom if you are having a difficult financial time. In fact, we are here to support you.

Annual financial commitments are Or Shalom’s main source of revenue. They fund our staff salaries, adult and youth education, social action projects, ritual services, and festival celebrations. Membership runs from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.

Please refer to the email from July 1 with your financial commitment amount from last year.
There are many methods to pay your Financial Commitment. Paper check(s) are the least expensive, with no transaction fee.  eChecks are the next least expensive method, followed by single or recurring credit card charges. We include the convenience fee for all eCheck and credit card-mediated transactions.

If paying by credit card, please select the number of payments on the payment page.
