Potluck Shabbat Dinner and Conversation with Rabbi Deborah Waxman

We are so blessed to welcome Rabbi Deborah Waxman, leader of our movement, for the regional Reconstructionist Shabbaton November 22-23.  Rabbi Waxman is radiant, wise, and inspiring, and has her finger on the pulse of the newest offerings from Reconstructing Judaism.  I hope that you can come to hear her, not only on Friday night at Or Shalom, but also as the other Reconstructionist communities of the area host her through the entire Shabbat. 

The weekend as a whole is a way to connect to other kindred spirits from our community and beyond, and to imagine together how we can make the most of being part of a progressive Jewish movement - whether in the arena of social action or spiritual innovation.  Or Shalom is part of something exciting, and here is a great chance to learn more about it and make it come to life.
