| Hospitality at Or Shalom Community is something so many of us yearn for in our day and age. We are no longer automatically part of a strong network merely by living in a certain neighborhood or attending a certain school. So how can we find a group of people who care, who will offer support in times of need and make a fun-loving fuss in times of joy? One way we've found at Or Shalom to weave the fabric of community is through opening our homes to one another. Whether it be a committee meeting or a Shabbat meal,a service or a study session, we have found that the bonds we make when we engage in the ancient practice of hospitality are stong and true. Like our ancestors Abraham and Sarah, we strive to welcome one another into our homes and thereby, into our hearts.
